On average, a cyber attack occurs ever 39 seconds.  It can put you, your family and your personal data at risk.  Individuals have to be aware at all times.

Below are the top four things you can do to stay safe online:

  1. Turn on Multifactor Authorization (MFA): Implementing multifactor authentication on your accounts will decrease your chances of getting hacked.
  2. Update your Software: Update your software. In fact, turn on automatic updates.  
  3. Think before you click: Think before you click. More than 90% of successful cyber-attacks start with a phishing email.
  4. Use strong passwords: Use strong passwords, and ideally a password manager to generate and store unique passwords.
