Tell us a little about yourself:

I wasn't sure what I wanted to be when I grew up or what to go to college for, so I graduated from Southeast High School and was at bootcamp for the Navy 10 days later. Those four years gave me experiences and opportunities that far exceeded the value of any college tuition; I was an aircraft mechanic aboard the USS Independence with a homeport in Japan and we traveled the Pacific Rim pretty extensively.

I had class with a girl at Lincoln Land Community College that I can remember telling my friends about because I just knew she was the one, and we've now been married for over 20 years and have two of the best sons we could have asked for. We are surrounded by family in every direction and are lucky to spend time with childhood friends and even watch our kids grow up with some of the same families in Springfield.

Why Troxell?

Troxell has a longstanding history of success and growth and I'm excited to help continue that. As a lifelong resident of Springfield, I've known the Troxell name for many years, and consider myself very lucky to be part a team who measures success not just at the bottom line on financial reports, but also in employee retention and community engagement. They care about their people and their communities and that's a team I'm excited to be a part of!
